The Neodymium motor was made larger to accommodate the new voice coil, which increased to 1.8” for a 25% greater total area, resulting in substantially improved power handling and output capability. This stronger motor is complemented by the introduction of the 4th Gen B1 compression driver, made with a smaller all aluminum body.
